Mainstreaming Activity

The term 'mainstreaming disability' means integrating disability issues into policies plans and programs in all areas and at all levels. It is a strategy for making the concerns and experiences of persons with disabilities an integral dimension of the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies and program in all political, economic and societal spheres so that persons with disabilities benefit equally and inequality is not perpetuated.
