Areas of Focus (projects)

Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics-3 year training programme for Prosthetics and Orthotics Physical Rehabilitation-PhysiotherapyManufacture, Assessment, Provision and follow up for orthotics and prostheticsCommunity Development

• Survey villages to locate people who would benefit from our services
• Disability Awareness Programmes: NGO Community and Self Help groups at village level
• Access to mainstream skills training and poverty reduction programmes
• Access to mainstream education

• Physical Rehabilitation: providing prosthetics, orthotics, devices such as crutches, wheelchairs, physiotherapy and community physiotherapy
• Community Development:
  1. Following up our own clients who have received products or services from Cambodia Trust.
  2. Survey the community to identify people with disability and who would benefit from our services.
  3. Assisting poor children with disability to attend school and erecting ramps and handrails in schools.
  4. Awareness rising for people with disability and advocating for equal rights and equal opportunities for disabled people in the community.
  5. Poverty reduction/income generation programmes by supporting Small Grants for Small Businesses.
  6. Referral of disabled people to other available services e.g. vocational training, medical services etc.
• Cambodian School Prosthetic and Orthotic: Three years training providing for professional Prosthetic and Orthotic (Certified Prosthetic & Orthotic) to national and international students.
