Main Activities/ Description of the project

Rehabilitation, community development programme and Prosthetic and Orthotic training.

  • Physical Rehabilitation: providing prosthetics, orthotics, devices such as crutches, wheelchairs, physiotherapy and community physiotherapy
  • Community Development:
    1. Following up our own clients who have received products or services from Cambodia Trust.
    2. Survey the community to identify people with disability and who would benefit from our services.
    3. Assisting poor children with disability to attend school and erecting ramps and handrails in schools.
    4. Awareness rising for people with disability and advocating for equal rights and equal opportunities for disabled people in the community.
    5. Poverty reduction/income generation programmes by supporting Small Grants for Small Businesses.
    6. Referral of disabled people to other available services e.g. vocational training, medical services etc.
  • Cambodian School Prosthetic and Orthotic: Three years training providing for professional Prosthetic and Orthotic (Certified Prosthetic & Orthotic) to national and international students.

  • Disabled children who drop out of the school. or who have not attended school
