Main Activities
- Health education sessions to improve mothers' knowledge about health and to
be able to deal with their everyday health problems by themselves.
- HIV/AIDS education for youth.
- Increasing the awareness and skills of school teachers for in-school teaching
about HIV/AIDS.
- In order to build capacity to deal with health problems in the district and
to provide health education to the population, training for hospital staff, health
center staff and TBA are conducted.
- Supporting to build a water system in the district hospital to improve sanitation
and infection control in the hospital. This project also supports the hospital's
educational effort to improve patients' personal hygiene.
