The purpose of DAC Membership
DAC membership is established to represent the disability sector and provide a common voice through wider consultation with the sector for lobbying and advocating government ministries and relevant stakeholders in order to; propose revisions, additional completion or amendment of laws, standards, and guidelines, policies for inclusion of disability as well as monitoring and evaluating the implementation of those legal frameworks. It is also served as a place where members and government ministries meet and share updated information, best practices, challenges, lessons learned used to produce specific recommendations to relevant ministries/institutions and stakeholders.
