The Special Olympics Bangladesh Team has won the Championship in the 2nd Asia Pacific Bocce Games held in Brunei Darussalam.
The Special Olympics Bangladesh Team has won the Championship in the 2nd Asia Pacific Bocce Games held in Brunei Darussalam from August 19-24, 2008 by winning 15 Gold, 7 Silver and 1 Bronze in total 32 events. Special Olympics Malaysia captured the 2nd place by winning 13 Gold. Total 7 countries participated in the competition, i.e. Bangladesh, China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore and host Brunei Darussalam.
The Bangladesh team was comprised of eight athletes (with intellectual
disabilities), two coaches and one official. by CSID
