POSITION OF MARKETING MANAGER WITH YODICRAFT RETAIL OUTLETS

Yodicraft, a division of Yodifee, is a not for profit organisation selling handcrafted items produced by young Cambodians with a disability with all proceeds from sales assisting in support of these young people to access education and employment opportunities.

Yodicraft is looking for a mature woman with good spoken English to manage their retail shop in Phnom Penh and assist management in marketing their handcrafts throughout Cambodia in other retail outlets.  Duties will include overseeing the shop staff and training them in appropriate sales techniques, sourcing other retail outlets and overseeing consignment stock.

Salary will be negotiable based on previous retail marketing experience; applicants must have their own transport and a valid driver’s license.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Manage YODICRAFT retail shop

Enter sales daily by item on inventory sheet

Balance cash daily to sales invoices

Report each week total sales by item and amount

Keep track of consignment stock and payments due to supplier

2. Oversee shop staff

Ensure every sale has an invoice showing item number and amount

Organise staff to sweep floors and dust shelves every day

Train staff in sales techniques (how to talk to customers about stock)

Train staff in display of stock

3. Shop stock

Ensure all items have a price tag with correct stock number

Last day of each month supervise a stock take

Report on all missing or damaged stock

4. Consignment stock

Market YODICRAFT items to other shops

Visit consignment shops on a monthly basis to check stock

Receive payment for sold consignment stock and deliver to head office

Arrange for replacement of sold consignment stock
