Administration and Finance Unit
The Unit works to facilitate the overall management of the finance and administration of the DAC. It ensures compliance with financial policies and other organizational policies concerned with stewardship and transparency of funds and resources. DAC opened its current account with a commercial bank to facilitate bank transactions including fund transfer, payroll, withdrawal, issuing check, deposit, cash exchanges for cash security. The DAC's level of authority requires any withdrawal or issuing check to be co-signed between the chairperson, treasurer and Executive Director based on the amount as set out in the policy.Objective
- To develop, update and implement appropriate financial, administrative, and personnel policies, procedures and regulations
- To assist audit team to access all related documents including accounting documents and financial statements for annual audit
- To manage the accounting, budgeting, reporting and administrative system effectively
- To support DAC programmes and other events in terms of administrative purposes
