Health and Rehabilitation Unit
The Unit works with relevant government ministries and relevant stakeholders to develop and/or propose revision, additional completion or amendment of standards, guidelines and policies related to health and rehabilitation, and to promote, monitor and evaluate the implementation of related policies in order to improve quality of services for persons with disabilities in line with national and international mandates.Objectives
- To promote the implementation of policies, standards, guidelines and other regulations related to health and rehabilitation issues
- To monitor and evaluate the implementation of policies, standards, guidelines and other regulations related to health and rehabilitation issues
- To propose revisions, additional completion or amendment of policies standards, guidelines and other regulations related to health and rehabilitation issues
- To organize national forums in order to share best practices, challenges, lessons learned among health and rehabilitation operators
- To bring forward the common challenges, lessons learned and formulated recommendations to NDCC for decision making
- To provide technical support to NDCC on health and rehabilitation
- To update the progress of health and rehabilitation to NDCC
