Inclusive Education and Livelihoods Unit
The Unit works with relevant government ministries and relevant stakeholders to develop and/or propose revision, additional completion or amendment of standards, guidelines and policies related to inclusive education and livelihoods, and to promote, monitor and evaluate the implementation of related policies in order to improve quality of services for persons with disabilities in line with national and international mandates.Objectives
- To provide technical advice and coordination support to relevant ministries and other stakeholders in order to promote the implementation of policies, standards, guidelines and other regulations related to inclusive education and livelihoods
- To monitor and evaluate the implementation of policies, standards, guidelines and other regulations related to inclusive education and livelihoods
- To propose revisions, additional completion or amendment of policy standards, guidelines and other regulations related to inclusive education and livelihoods
- To organize national forums in order to share best practices, challenges, lessons learned among inclusive education and livelihoods operators
- To bring forward the common challenges, lessons learned and formulated recommendations to NDCC for decision making
