REMARKS

The section is the only course of physiotherapy in Cambodia. 139 physiotherapists have graduated and are now working in the rehabilitation and health sectors in the country. Since its creation by Handicap International in 1987, the section achieved a good level of autonomy in the managerial and technical aspects. However the section still needs financial support in order to develop the training activities. Handicap International will withdrawal its presence by the end of 2001.
