Strategic Plan

GOAL

Quantitative and qualitative Rehabilitation Services for PWD in Cambodia increase and are equally distributed, through the contribution and joint efforts of relevant government ministries, local and international NGOs, international organisations, and potential donors / funders.

IMMEDIATE OBJECTIVE

Relevant government ministries, local and international NGOs, international organisations and potential donors, PWD and their communities participate in, contribute to and assist the development, improvement and implementation of activities, projects, programmes and services within the Disability and Rehabilitation sector.

OBJECTIVES
  1. To strengthen the capacity of the DAC Secretariat to be a permanent coordination body and service centre of the Disability Action Council.
  2. To consult with the Executive Board, Advisory and Financial Management committees, and provide support to strengthen Technical and Specialised committees and working groups in implementing the Task Force Recommendations and ESCAP agenda.
  3. To coordinate and facilitate the development and implementation of programmes and projects within the Strategic Directions Plan for the Disability and Rehabilitation sector, and to develop an appropriate system to assess, monitor and evaluate its progress.
  4. To develop and implement communication networks among and between the DAC Secretariat, committees, working groups and relevant government ministries, affiliated and non-affiliated members, and donor organisations.
  5. To promote and encourage the equality of opportunity and full participation of PWD in all aspects of society by facilitating and coordinating the development of advocacy and awareness-raising activities.
