5. Women with Disabilities

Women with Disabilities (WWD) have equal rights and opportunities and improved quality of life as a consequence of social recognition, encouragement and provision of better available services.

Women with disabilities get more support and encouragement, and actively participate in mainstream development programmes.

1. Communication among WWD and others is supported, and they are included in development activities.
2. Access to income-generation activities for WWD is facilitated.
3. Advocacy and awareness-raising on the issues of domestic violence and discrimination against WWD is supported and promoted.
