Strategic Plan
| GOAL |
To incorporate barrier-free features as a standard requirement in designs and
plans for all new construction, renovation and expansion of buildings and facilities
used by the public, including educational and health facilities.
| OBJECTIVES |
- Create a Task Force on accessibility composed of representatives of people with disabilities, elderly persons, government, professionals and business.
- Develop information and awareness campaigns on accessibility, targeting the general public, government staff, donor agencies, and higher-level educational institutions.
- Lobby government, donors and business to include accessibility features in buildings.
