10.1. Community Work with Disabled People (CWD)

Strategic Plan

GOAL

People with disabilities in the community have rights and opportunities equal to other citizens, to access all available resources to fulfil their needs with regard to their social, physical, cultural and economic development.

IMMEDIATE OBJECTIVE

People with disabilities in the community take the opportunity to participate actively in all services (of all programmes), in order to benefit their social, cultural, physical and economic development.

OBJECTIVES
  1. To organise and strengthen the structural mechanism of the Community Work with Disabled People committee.
  2. To support and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in all development programmes and activities.
  3. To develop communication networking among organisations related to community work with disabled people, and establish a National Referral System.
  4. To promote the human resource development of CWD workers (field workers).
