11.1. Medical Rehabilitation
Strategic Plan
| GOAL |
Ensure and promote that appropriate medical rehabilitation becomes formalized
within the Health Service in Cambodia through developing a National Rehabilitation
Strategy (Health Sector) to be incorporated into the plans of the Ministry of
Health (MOH) and other appropriate bodies.
| OBJECTIVES |
- To assess and analyse the situation of Medical Rehabilitation in Cambodia in order to develop guidelines and strategies for the development of National Planning and for the implementation of service for the Medical Rehabilitation Sector.
- To assist in the development and review policies, standards and protocols relating to medical rehabilitation, as requested by the MOH and / or allied government ministries and organisations.
- To assist in reviewing technical proposals and / or facilitate the preparation of technical reports relating to disability, as requested by the Ministry of Health and allied bodies.
- To assist the Ministry of Health, allied government ministries, WHO and relevant bodies, on policy and planning relating to the medical rehabilitation for PWDs.
